This trip of ours is coming up way too quick and I have been procrastinating far too long on what I should be telling all our followers. Time to pull out all stops and get on with it.
Murray has almost completed the revamp on the camper and it’s all coming together nicely. The whole floor had to be redesigned and rebuilt due to water damage, from before we owned it. New batteries purchased and in place, carpet installed on the floor for warmth and comfort. New midgee screens and door zips replaced, due to breakages, which meant removing the whole tent from the trailer, this then had to be put back on and riveted to the frame(all done by Murray with assistance from the boys from time to time). New weather seals and rubbers all round. Minor storage improvements. New fridge and lights. So as you can tell Murray has been very busy for the past six months.
The boys have also been helping out with improvements to the Navara. Andrew put in a new heavy duty clutch. Simon has been responsible for purchases of brake rotors and pads, belts and anything else Murray decides to add to his shopping list.
We also purchased a cordless Ryobi fan and vacuum and a vacuum sealer for supplies.
All going well with only three weeks to go before we leave. It’s becoming real.
