Always a pleasure and fun. What else can I say? The Atherton Tablelands are picturesque, enjoyable, sometimes wet but above all the home of Murray’s family.
We have spent the past eleven days in Malanda with Murray’s parents, Rus and Gladys. In this time we have visited with Jess, our niece and her family in Mareeba, played with Kipp (youngest grandchild and son of Jess), swam in the pool in Atherton, shopped in Malanda and Atherton several times and even had my hair cut at a new place in Atherton called Simply Bliss, which I am very happy with thanks to Jaime.
Murray celebrated his 57th birthday, the first in quite a while with his parents and sister, for which we had a lovely lunch at the Malanda Dairy Centre.
As we have spent quite a bit of time here over the years we have visited most of the attractions the Tablelands have to offer and I have blogged about Malanda and surrounding areas before here so I don’t have a lot to add but the photos that tell their own story.
Again we have enjoyed visiting the Tablelands, spending time with Rus and Gladys and catching up with the rest of the family. We look forward to returning here in the future. We leave with more happy memories to add to the bank that is forever growing.
Cheers xo.
